Kahului Airport – OGG (all flights from the US mainland):
From the Kahului Airport, follow H-380 to the first traffic light and bear left through the light.
Continue straight through the next few sets of lights crossing Pu’unene Avenue and continue to the junction of H-380 and H-30. Continue driving along the winding coastline towards Lahaina and through Ka’anapali, Napili and then Kapalua (highway signs will indicate towns).
A green road sign on the right-hand side of the road will indicate ‘Office Road, The Village Course’. Take this left-hand turn (there is no traffic light).
After turning left at the intersection you will be on Office Road. Take the first right after the Honolua Store (entrance to the hotel) onto Ritz-Carlton Drive. Please allow 45-60 minutes for driving.
Kapalua/West Maui Airport (Some flights from Honolulu):
Please utilize a courtesy phone to call the Kapalua Resort shuttle or West Maui rental car shuttle transportation upon arrival at the Kapalua Airport.
Kahului Airport (OGG) is the Maui’s main airport. There is also a smaller commuter airport between Ka’anapali and Kapalua, the Kapalua Airport (JHM) in West Maui. Many airlines offer non-stop flights direct to Maui. You may also fly into Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on Oahu before heading to Maui on a short, 30-minute flight.
Traveling to Maui
You can get around Maui by shuttle, tour bus, taxi, or public transportation. But to really experience all that Maui offers you should consider reserving a rental car in advance from the Kahului or Kapalua Airport. Lectures and cases will cover evidence-based practice techniques and protocols for improved diagnostic accuracy in multiple applications.At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Use contemporary imaging techniques and protocols in breast imaging to accurately diagnose, stage and manage diseases
- Outline MR protocols and techniques in musculoskeletal imaging for improved clinical diagnosis of diseases
- Describe the imaging anatomy and protocols that are necessary to arrive at a diagnosis of iardiac diseases
- Develop differential diagnosis that relates to the pertinent imaging and clinically relevant findings for each of the cases covered in this course
