Getting to Maui
Kahului Airport (OGG) is the Maui’s main airport. There is also a smaller commuter airport between Ka’anapali and Kapalua, the Kapalua Airport (JHM) in West Maui. Many airlines offer non-stop flights direct to Maui. You may also fly into Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on Oahu before heading to Maui on a short, 30-minute flight.
Traveling to Maui
You can get around Maui by shuttle, tour bus, taxi, or public transportation. - This course is designed to provide the tools for participants to enhance interpretation skills utilizing the latest imaging technologies. Lectures and cases will cover evidence-based practice techniques and protocols for improved diagnostic accuracy in multiple applications.At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Use contemporary imaging techniques and protocols in thoracic imaging to accurately diagnose, stage and manage diseases
- Discuss the treatment of the liver
- Outline CT protocols and techniques in abdominal imaging for improved clinical diagnosis of diseases
- Recognize normal variants, incidental findings, and pitfalls on PET/CT
- Develop differential diagnosis that relates to the pertinent imaging and clinically relevant findings for each of the cases covered in this course
