Guarantee Policy: All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. The booking credit card will be charged immediately for two nights’ room rate plus tax and resort fee. This deposit represents the first two nights of the stay. Stays of fewer than two nights require a deposit equal to one night’s room rate plus tax and resort fee.
Cancel Policy: All cancellations and changes must be received at least 30 days prior to the expected arrival date. If cancellation of a guaranteed reservation is received 30 or fewer days, the guest will be charged for their full reservation.
Parking: Reduced self-parking rate of $15.00 + tax per day per car (from $40 + tax)

Hiking on Oʻahu
Take a hike on Oʻahu and reward yourself with panoramic ocean views and lush mountain scenery. One of Oʻahu’s most famous landmarks and most accessible hikes is up the slopes of Lēʻahi (Lēʻahi Head). Just minutes from Waikīkī, this moderately challenging trail includes two sets of stairs as well as dark tunnels and old military bunkers that open out to stunning panoramic vistas of the Pacific Ocean and Honolulu. Closer to th e hotel, enjoy a leisurely afternoon stroll with a Botanical Collections Specialist as they take you on a journey through Waimea Valley on the North Shore, highlighting beautiful blooming plants and fruits along the way.

On its surface, hula is the storytelling dance of the Hawaiian Islands. As with all of Hawaiian culture, when you are fortunate enough to learn more about it, much deeper, more powerful and empowering truths may be revealed. Hula can be paired with chants or contemporary music, slow and sentimental in tempo or fast and energetic. But no matter its style, it is all part of a cultural practice of sharing a trove of stories that connect dancers and audiences to the foundation of Hawaiian ancestral knowledge. Hula animates history, genealogy, prophecy, and the tales of those who came before.
Golf at the Turtle Bay Golf Course
The #1 Golf Course on Oʻahu. Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, this course was rated one of Golf Magazine’s “Top 10 New Courses” in America and ranked 4th among Golf Digest’s “Best New Resort Courses in America” when it opened. Whale Watching on Oʻahu
From December to May, you may catch a glimpse of a majestic koholā, or humpback whale, in Oʻahu's southern seas. The gentle giants come to the warm Hawaiian waters every year to breed and give birth to new calves.
Schedule a tour or charter a boat to spot these magnificent creatures. Treat yourself to scenic ocean views as expert guides take you to the best spots to observe whales playfully surfacing, tail slapping or blowing spouts in the air. Regulations prohibit boats from approaching within 100 yards of a whale and you should never swim with or touch whales or any other marine mammals.
Snorkeling & Scuba on Oʻahu

Oʻahu Surfing
Surfing literally began as the "Sport of Kings" in Hawaiʻi, when ancient Hawaiian royalty would show off their skills on Waikīkī Beach and other surf spots around Oʻahu.In the 1950s, surfers started riding the huge waves in the North Shore's Waimea Bay, now widely regarded as the birthplace of big wave surfing. Oʻahu has many options for you to experience surfing, either by watching the pros on the major waves or by trying it out yourself on the gentler ones.
Learning How to Surf on Oʻahu
You'll find surf schools taught at gentler breaks in town at Ala Moana, the North Shore and various other spots around Oʻahu. Lessons run between 1-2 hours and are taught by more experienced surfers.
Watching Big Wave Surfing on Oʻahu
To see the professional surfers in action, take a drive to the North Shore during the winter and watch surfers from around the world ride Hawaiʻi’s most famous big waves. The North Shore’s legendary winter waves attract the best surfers in the world. The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, considered the Super Bowl of surfing, is held on its shores every year in November and December at Waimea Bay, Haleʻiwa Beach and ʻEhukai Beach (Banzai Pipeline).

How to Get to Honolulu on the Island of Oahu and the Turtle Bay Resort
Fly into the Daniel K. Inouye Honolulu International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu. There are 85 direct flights daily to Honolulu. To search for convenient flights, we recommend flights.google.com
You won't be too far away from new adventures at Turtle Bay. Only a 55-minute drive from the airport, travelers can get around the island by car rental, shuttle, or Oʻahu’s public transportation system (TheBus). Please note, taxi and rideshare services are limited on the North Shore, so you'll want to plan ahead when you're traveling to and from the resort.
